"Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: 'Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.'"

—Revelation 12:10

It's not a question of if, but when. Anytime a group of people gathers to pursue the Kingdom, the enemy will bend over backwards to divide them. And he'll do this by creating suspicion and offense between people.

Satan is the "accuser of the brethren." In fact, the name Satan actually means "accuser" or "adversary." Day and night he is accusing, accusing, accusing. Accusing us to each other, us to God, God to us... us to ourselves.

Suddenly you'll get triggered by something someone said. It seems the leader is paying attention to everyone in the group but you. Overwhelming feelings of accusation toward someone. Jealousy rises because someone gets a powerful prophetic word. Or, someone says something you're just convinced is a false doctrine. Before long, you're wanting to leave the group, or find a different prayer partner. These are the tricks of the enemy uses to divide us, and keep us from the spiritual unity that brings breakthrough.

It takes a very mature person to see past these attacks, extend grace to their brothers and sisters, and link arms against a common enemy. Most people, rather than deal with conflicts and disagreements in a healthy way, will simply abandon the group in search of a better one. But there isn't a better one. Anywhere you go, you'll start to experience conflict as soon as you get close enough to people. Relationships are messy at times. Safe people know how to work through the conflict in love.

The reason this lesson is included in the deliverance class is because accusation is one of the number one things Satan will use to try to block your deliverance. (Not only that, but carrying a spirit of offense and unforgiveness can give the enemy a legal right in your life.)

Here are some prayers and declarations to protect you against these attacks and help you align your heart to the heart of God.
